Manilow Mania

NEW! Obviously Wal-Mart and I have different ideas about metal.

A non-time-travelling Delorean showed up.

Halloween 2005

In honor of his new film, here's a pic I took of Herbie the last time I met him.

Herbie - the good kind of love bug
Fire! Fire! FIRE!!

Not the best thing to see on your way to work. And they say nothing ever happens here.

My Doc Savage books in front of my couch. Notice my skill in digitally adding a mess to the couch so you wouldn't think I'm some sort of neat freak.

A bloodstained bill and guitar pic from my first Alice Cooper concert. Stockton, CA. Yes, it took me until the Raise Your Fist and Yell tour to see him, but it was worth the wait. The man can still show the rest of them how to really kick. Pick up The Eyes of Alice Cooper and you'll know what I mean.

Ribbons from my Air Force days. Starting on the top, going left to right:
Air Force Commendation, AF Organizational Excellence, Good Conduct, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, AF Longevity Service, USAF NCO PME Graduate Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, AF Training Ribbon

My guard Critter, a gift from Melanie, an old pen-pal. This is the new shot I promised.

If you listened to Heavy Metal at the time Buckaroo Banzai came out, you were required by law to draw Eddie from Iron Maiden's Killers LP at least once. Here's mine.

An enlargement of the UFO from the beach picture a few rows down.

A porcupine quill. Acquired and given to me by Jennifer. Actual length - around 11 inches.

Qualified for the marksmanship ribbon with this target. Grouping doesn't look that impressive, I know, but it was my first time out with something other than a handgun. The only holes outside the target area are from the staples that held it in place. Wish I could remember the distance. A natural born gun-fighter, that's me!

Some sort of crane-like device in Germany. To me, it was a playground. No pictures from the top because it was within site of the front gate of the military base. I only went up at night and didn't want the German military guys investigating. What with all the bomb threats and stuff, I suspect they wouldn't have been amused.

I've found the strangest things lying around. This was taken while thwarting a rather ambitious theft with the local Strike Team.

Pic that's back on the front page for a bit, and from whence the UFO enlargement a few rows up comes from.

Air Force Thunderbirds

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, circa 1988.

This rock I found on the passenger seat of my car one Sunday afternoon. Surrounded by the remains of my driver's side window.
