Just In Time For Christmas

Yes, I know it's been a long time, but I've got a really good excuse. I've had some roomies for the last few months. Kitten and Starburst moved in with me. Yep, two girls. I am indeed the man, as either of them will gladly tell you.

Confirmed bachelor as I am, it's been an adjustment but it certainly has some advantages.

Now, we're in the midst of the whole holiday thang. A pain in the butt, really, but some of my favorite holidays were spent on a couch in the dorm TV room watching the "Silent Night, Deadly Night" films with Helen and Sue so what do I know?

I used to be really okay at getting gifts for people, but now I'm hardly around them enough to know what anyone likes, much less wants. Doesn't help that I'm broke. And no one helps when I ask and they go "Erm...I dunno." Yeah, Jenster, I'm looking at you here. Don't be surprised to find a lump of coal in a box under the tree.

The usual stuff is going on at work. First shift screws up and second shift (mine) gets to pick up the pieces and get blamed. I swear it's like dealing with a bunch of grade-schoolers, sometimes. "But they started it...!" Kids, I swear.

At least "The Avengers" are on TV now. Emma Peel...sigh...

Anyway, off to wrap a few things while the girls are gone.
