This 'n' That
I've been on overtime since before the last entry, so that's part of why there's been nothing new. That and the fact that I'm a lazy slob.
So there's a new "Night Stalker" series out, just in time to make you really glad the original is on DVD now.
Two episodes in and I'll give my impressions so far...
The one word that still comes first to mind regarding the new show is:
bland.
There's just no "there" there.
Certainly nothing we haven't seen done better a hundred times before on other shows.
Sure, it's better than having yet another 'reality' show on the air, but really, test patterns are better than those things and most of them are more interesting than this show has been so far.
If it weren't "Night Stalker" I'd probably already have seen all the episodes I was going to watch, because quite frankly CSI is still a thousand times better. But since it is "Night Stalker" I'm going to try and tough it out a little longer and see if these aren't just particularly boring 'growing pains' and the show can develop some character of its own to keep me interested.
Meanwhile, the $.50 preview of the upcoming Buckaroo Banzai comic is coming in December, so that's cool.

Can't believe I made it to fourth with that crappy "Speed Checked By Radar" image.
Gah...I'm just tired and burnt out. I should sack out soon. I'm being taken out for dinner...well, lunch, and a movie tomorrow (later today). We're hitting up "Serenity" and the new ice cream place is open right by the theater too, so double-score for me.
