Good News / Bad News

So...the good news is that Halloween stuff is out on the shelves now. Noticed it last weekend or so.

Love Halloween. Love it.

Tough to find a good inexpensive werewolf mask. I have a plan for a decent wolfman makeup job that I've never had the need to try out. I guess if I were the type to go out in public (like, say, to a Halloween party) I'd give it a go. Saw an official Friday the 13th hockey mask that's kinda lax in the quality/durabilty department, but it gave me a cheap idea for a costume I could chuck in a bag and take to work since they generally have a contest and hardly anyone dresses up so I'd be almost guaranteed to get a prize.

Bad news?

Right next to the Halloween stuff was the Christmas stuff.

Remember when you didn't have to worry about being annoyed by Christmas until Thanksgiving or so? Otherwise known as "the good old days." Now I'm in full-on Bah-Humbug mode by the middle of August. Especially since we've been dealing with 'Christmas Crap,' as we've been affectionately calling it, for a few weeks now at work and it's put us behind. Well, that and first shift being a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings.

Ah well....what else is new, right?

We have a new halloween store in town (North Charleston, SC). Our neighbor, who is also a halloween nut, really likes it. James hasn't checked it out yet. Not sure James is even interested. He got the fog machine last year, maybe that is all he wanted. The neighbor, Chuck, thinks it is a year-round store. Don't see how they could do that with halloween.
