Happy Mother's Day!
Yeah, I know. It's not for another week but as bad as I am at remembering stuff like that, I figured I'd go ahead and throw it out there.
Saw "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" today. Not the best person to get a review from because I wasn't feeling my best when I went. Overall, I'd say it was good but the mood I was in, I couldn't help just being sad about Douglas Adams' death. Knowing that whatever he'd intended for the continuation of the trilogy won't ever be written.... Sounds kinda selfish, I guess.
On the plus side, Peter 'Buckaroo Banzai' Weller will be on "Enterprise" next week. I haven't watched that series since the pilot put me to sleep, but knowing the BB fans behind the scenes, I have to catch this episode.
We had a little excitement in town yesterday when there was an explosion at a metal recycling center. Some yutz had snuck a propane tank in or something and it didn't take kindly to being put thru the shredder.
My view on my way to work:

And one bored night I went and did this in Photoshop:

Need to do the 'bullet holes' differently, but it came out okay I guess.
Really looking forward to the upcoming Batman movie, but really haven't been excited by anything I've seen concerning the Superman movie they're working on.
My computer has had it rough lately. Soon I'll be formatting and reinstalling everything from the ground up. At least, as soon as I feel I've tracked down all the serial numbers and installation files and whatever else it is I feel I need to save. I'm sure I'll end up losing something important no matter what I do, but them's the breaks.
Work's been very slow, so I'll have plenty of time to mess with the computer because I've no money to go do anything else.
Gotta go....
