Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow followup
Just a quick followup here - saw Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow over the weekend and enjoyed the heck out of it.
For someone (like, say, me) who grew up reading Doc Savage and other 30s based pulp adventures, it was a special treat. Definately the most pure fun I've had at a movie in a long time.
And as far as the heavy CGI stuff, quite frankly it meshed more smoothly with the live action than most of the stuff in the Star Wars prequels.
Definately a thumbs up kinda thing. Go see it.
