Hey everyone,
I am just sitting here reading tonight and I was wondering. Is there any BB
programs out there written by fans? Maybe a quote generator with lines from
the movie or anything like that? I don't have the know how to do it myself
which is why I ask? Anyone?
thanks,
Topher

Just wanted to let everyone know that the BBI Deployment Maps have been
updated at the World Watch Files webpage. I think everyone will
agree that it's a definite improvement. I've finally added the map
of Canada that was needed, as well as maps for some of our other comrades
who've checked in from places such as England, South Korea,
and even Antarctica! Everyone who has emailed me with their location
should be mapped and listed, however if I've made an oversight please
let me know. And as always there's plenty of room on the maps if you
haven't sent me your location and if I don't have a map for your country
I'll add it just for you. That's just the kind of guy I am.

Subj: Banzai in Antarctica Press Release
Date:	1/12/00 8:27:33 PM Eastern Standard Time
From:	kliesebr@mcmurdo.gov (Kliesen, Brian)

   ----- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -----

11 January, 2000 - Willey Field, Antarctica. Dr. Buckaroo Banzai and his
team have left after a very productive week of working with the science
groups on the Ice. In particular their assistance with the Long Duration
Baloon Project was instrumental in its success.

After many frustrating delays the Long Duration Balloon Program has
successfully launched both its balloons carrying their scientific cargo into
the stratosphere above Antarctica to study the sun. Recent weather and
mechanical delays have hampered the project of late, which has a very small
launch window. Until last week, it was uncertain if the balloons would be
able to launch at all. But with the arrival of Dr. Buckaroo Banzai and his
team of experts, the crew became very optimistic and quickly overcame their
difficulties. 'Dr. Buckaroo Banzai even brought good weather with him'
beamed project coordinator Dr. Mike Crabler of the National Scientific
Baloon Facility. 'Dr. Banzai and his team were critical in solving some of
our problems and getting these balloons launched in the time remaining' he
said.

The balloons, 28.4 million cubic foot in size and as tall as an 80 story
building, will ascend to approximately 125,000 feet. There they will focus
their instruments on the sun, while the trans antarctic winds carry them
around the continent, and hopefully back to the desolate icefield near
McMurdo. Their one lap around the continent will allow them to watch the
sun, 24 hours a day, as it won't set til mid february here in the Antarctic.
The balloon carries several instruments, including many built and designed
by the Banzai Institute.

Dr. Banzai was very happy with his short working visit to Antarctica, his
fourth in the last 6 years. 'As a scientist, I realise the importance of the
many projects conducted here especially in the life sciences and in
environmental research. It is my hope that the Banzai Institute can
continue its excellent working relationship with the National Science
Foundation and other science teams here and elsewhere around the world.'

Before departing, Dr. Banzai astounded the science and support staff at
McMurdo with an impromptu appearance at the annual 'IceStock' festival,
performing late into the evening and jamming with local musicians. A bleary
eyed Dr. Banzai and his team boarded Air Force C-130 aircraft this morning
for a series of concerts in New Zealand and Australia before returning to
the US.

Please repost the url for downloading the movie soundtrack.

**** Yeah, it seems to be gone. You can get it in
RealAudio at the Rafterman site. I'll see what I
can do about some MP3s if no one else has them.
Better to download free bootlegs than spend a load
of dough on them. Be even better to go into the local
mall and pick up a legit soundtrack, but we work with
what we have. - ArcLight ****

It's a very windy day here in the northwest.

I wish to welcome everyone to go visit Team-Banzai.net and go to the
BBcon page. There you will find a temporary registration form to fill
out for your free membership. That's right FREE! And while I'm telling
you about FREE, on the same page of this site is an offer for a FREE
Team Banzai button. Just fill out the BBcon form, follow the other
instructions (send me an sase) and the first 75 fans will receive a
button! There is a picture of it there too.
I wish to dispel any concerns about the personal information we are
asking for, it will all be kept strictly confidential. No one else will
get it. The mailing address request is optional for the pre-reg in BBcon
but the sase isn't for the button. How else am I going to get it too
you?

A small percentage of you will have trouble with the temporary
registration form at Team-Banzai.net. If you do not get an email reply
within a day or so, contact me at the above addy or try sending the same
basic information as an email with the subject: BBcon pre-reg.

Get your FREE button.

BBcon will take place over a three day weekend, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday August 11, 12 and 13th. All the basic details as they are right
now, early in the planning stages, are at this site.

Please pre-registrer for this event if you even think that you might be
able to drop in for a short while. This is important. The more of you
who pre-reg, the better this event can be presented to potential guests,
dealers and artists.
This is a call for Team Banzai to get behind something fun. Please join
up!

The GABBs (BB chat rooms, Gathering All Blue Blazes) have been going
very well lately. In fact, we broke our old record for all at once
attendance last week by two Gabbers!!! Way to go team!
The usual basic information about the GABBs will be at the bottom of
this post.

Jeff, I work in retail too and have heard the same song, 'Since I Don't
Have You' over our speaking system in the last several week too! Isn't
it great! No customers with cast member's name though.

That's it for this week, isn't that enough? Free membership to the
online BBcon and a free button to the first 75 who fulfill the
requirements.

A random novel quote: John Whorfin is talking to the guard Jack in the
"institution" he is held in;
Whorfin smiled an ironical smile.
"You know I have some reputation as a seer, Jack," he said.
"You're a deep one, all right," agreed Jack.
"Then come closer. I have something to tell you."

GABB info: (full instructions at Team-Banzai.net)
We will be at: http://home.talkcity.com/

Wednesday January 19th, evening 6 PM PST/9 PM EST
and,
Saturday January 22nd, morning 9 AM PST/12 PM EST

Once you get to the above site the instructions are:
Click on "chat" on the black strip near the top of the front page.
Then go to "If you already know the room you want to chat in?
Enter here:", type in "BUCKAROO" (all caps) and click on "Go!"
From there you'll have to type in a user name in the "not a member yet"
area.
This site won't like "BBI(space) your name" as a user name. So I suggest
that you use a "-" between "BBI" and your name (like "BBI-Dragon") or
just use your name alone. Some servers do not like the "-" between "BBI"
& name".
You'll just have to find out what works for you.
Then click on "chat".

Chats will last for around two hours.
All the information is at Team-Banzai.net including troubleshooting.

Well, this'll be the first posting in a while that i
haven't added new Banzai references. In the midst of
Midterms/Finals week I just thought I'd bang out
another episode in the story for everyone. Btw, if
there are any Blazers up at Northern Mich. U., drop me
a line, I'm planning a college visit there soon.
Fight the good fight,

The Shadow: Return of the Demon
By
Infinity
Pt. 4 Chapter 2
Infinity paid the cashier at the filling station.
"Er, wait, this paper too." He ran out to the jet car waving the front page
in the air.
"Buckaroo, I think you'd better take a look at this." Infinity held up the
page.
"Hong Kong Cavaliers Arrested!" the headline shouted, "Buckaroo Banzai,
several others still sought..." it continued below.
"Says here that the HKC claimed there was an attack on the compound by...
samurai warriors, but that no one else saw a thing. . They did, however, see
the Blue Blazers launching an all out attack on the area surrounding the
compound."
	"So who'd they get?"
"Pecos, Reno, Penny, and a few BBI's. They said New Jersey and a few others
got away on a decked out bus."
	"Yours?"
	"Mojo Sam the youdoo man."
"I've got an idea," Infinity interrupted, "Is there a short wave in this
thing?"
"ATTENTION NACHT KINDER AND ALL OTHER BLUE BLAZERS LISTENING TO THIS
MESSAGE," The radio crackled as Infinity tuned in the Hidden's pirate radio
station, "I can only hope that this message reaches you in time. You must go
into hiding immediately. Blue Blazers are being hunted down by government
agencies across the country as a threat to the safety of the American people.
Should you run into any of these agents, DO NOT AT TEMPT TO RESIST! Message
repeats..."
"This is Blue Blaze Irregular 193, call sign Infinity. Hidden, do you read
me?"
"a threat to the... crackle... Infinity? Thank god, where are you?"
"I'm not too far from home base, about an hour or so. Buckaroo's here too."
	"Buckaroo? There?"
	"I'm here Hidden."
"Dr. someone attacked the complex, but no one but the Blazers saw anything.
They've got every government agency and then some out after us. You're as
good as public enemy number one to them Buckaroo. What in god's name is
going on?"
	"KAHN!" Evlyn shouted.
	"What?"
"Don't you get it? There really wasn't any attack, Kahn put it all into
their heads. Look, he already has the strike teams occupied right? Now he's
trying to get rid of the other Blazers and the HKC at the same time."
	"Genius," Buckaroo muttered.
"So what do we do?" Azrael queried.
"We get your people, Infinity, and then we catch up with Mojo and New
Jersey. Hopefully the Hornet and Tommy are with them or at least in
contact."
	"Yes, and then what?"
"Then Master Caine shows us how to get to Shamballa."
	"I cannot," Caine said.
	"What?"
"I cannot, not without the correct book of Shamballa, a book lost years
ago."
"We'll have to worry about that once we get everyone together. Hidden."
	"Yes, Buckaroo."
"Put out a message to the station we have World Watch One tuned to."
	"Yes."
"First, thought, tell Infinity's people to stay put. We'll be coming for
them shortly."
