Greetings,

AOL has been giving me fits still, so my most profuse
apologies to anyone getting this 2 (or 3 or 4 or...)
times. If you happen to notice it coming from an
addy other than 'wwatchone@aol.com', that's just me
playing around. Don't worry about and keep sending
email to the regular address.

Unfortunately, I can't blame them for this
being a day late. Totally my fault. Let time slip away.

Any 'Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear" players around? Aside
from being a great tactical training aid (for those
BBIs that can't always make it to the training camps,
there's a mission that takes place in Smolensk.

Later...

I just saw it again this weekend, and paid closer attention. It's a
mobile phone company.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the kind comments. The BB article that I posted on the web page
won't be showing up in Video Watchdog. I wrote the article for the fans
and I'm glad the fans get to read it on the web.

As I was watching BB again, I suddenly noticed BB's watch during the jet car
scene.
I'm not sure if it's my aging eyesight or an old copy of the video, but does
anyone know what kind it is?

I thought it was a Rolex Submariner, but I can't be sure.

(If you ask me, if he's gonna wear a Rolex, he should have had the GMT master
II... after all, it's set up to tell time in three time zones... what better
way
of keeping track of time in the 8th dimension?)

Besides, life wasn't the same to me after Bond switched from Rolex to Omega.
Looses some of the unique bond-ian flavour, yes?

Cheers

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Reno providing his vocal talents to
Eddie Murphey animation project, "The PJs", which is currently being
re-run over here on Sky1, one of our satellite channels. Perhaps
some-one has and I've missed it!

Greetings and Happy Holidays. This is The Deacon. I was wondering if anyone
out there has heard of a new Denzel Washington movie coming out
called"HURRICANE". I haven't yet. I did however come across a sort of movie
program that must've been given out at the premier or to media. It's got the
cast and crew list for the film and i noticed that Dan Hedaya and Clancy
Brown are featured. I think it's about boxing. Anyone know? Anyone care? It
occured to me to submit this while i was watching Lewis Smith play a redneck
in "SOUTHERN COMFORT". I thought, why is it there isn't a newsletter for
this movie? Great film. And no I'm not going to start one. If anyone has
heard of "HURRICANE" and has more info, say so. The Deacon is out.

Greetings,

Just in case no one else has mentioned it, that so-called BB pilot
script looks like it finally sold for $76. Wonder what the winning
bidder is going to do with it now? Read it and toss it into a dresser
drawer?

Welcome Adam, I figured you weren't from "around here" when you said
that you "hired" the TABB video. That must be what you call "renting" in
Oz? Cool. Let's work on getting you a BBI name now.

BBI Downtown, another fellow fan from "down under", you wrote in the
last issue of this fine newsletter, "...what is the etiquette for use of
pictures and such in making a BB site. I've got some great stills, but
is there a procedure to go through to use them?"
Well to answer your question here so that anyone else can gain from my
p.o.v. just in case they too are thinking of putting a BB site up
anytime in the near future.
The etiquette, since no one will 'fess up to owning the rights to TABB,
who would you ask? Just go and put up what ever you have. Remember to
use good judgement. No "cut and paste" nudes of Penny and Buckaroo, just
what we don't need is a porn BB site!

Another etiquette issue that might not be obvious is to not steal images
from other sites. You can ask permission, but don't just take them. I
know that several of us with BB sites who have come up with the same
basic images, but I don't think anyone "stole" them from someone else.
The "basic" images, like the winged BBs, the Institute logo, Yoyodyne...
are sort of "stock" stuff that just about anyone can find and use. I
don't think anyone would say no to you asking and taking those images
from their site unless it was some "custom work". Or, you could just ask
some of us to send you a few "stock" images in an email and you could
use them.

Goings on over at the Official site have been interesting this last
week. Go over and check out the Bunk House wall. Keep your eyes out:

Come to a BB GABB (chat room) this holiday season and chat with your
fellow fans. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to either of
the next 2 Wednesday GABBs because of other commitments. But please show
up, I'm sure there will be some regulars there to converse with. I'm
available for the Saturday GABBs.

We will be at: http://home.talkcity.com/

Wednesday December 15th, evening 6 PM PST/9 PM EST
and,
Saturday December 18th, morning 9 AM PST/12 PM EST

The remainder of the instructions are at the bottom of this post. Chats
will last for around two hours.

BB Chat room instructions:
Once you get to the talkcity site:
Click on "chat" on the black strip near the top of the front page.
Then go to "If you already know the room you want to chat in?
Enter here:", type in "BUCKAROO" (all caps) and click on "Go!"
From there you'll have to type in a user name in the "not a member yet"
area.
This site won't like "BBI(space) your name" as a user name. So I suggest
that you use a "-" between "BBI" and your name (like "BBI-Dragon") or
just use your name alone. Some servers do not like the "-" between "BBI"
& name".
You'll just have to find out what works for you.
Then click on "chat".
