Greetings,

Oh...things have picked up a bit this week. Must
be getting tired of my whining. <g>

Yet another issue of the original newsletter is
up now. Only three more to go. After that, perhaps
DOC files of the press kit? Questions, comments,
criticisms?

Would've had some more pics up, too, but the weather
has been a bit hinky and until I get some big honkin'
APC surge protector, my comp doesn't run when it
looks like that. Heck, probably won't afterwards, either.

Later...
ArcLight

In case any of you haven't sent for the BB button....all I can say is...Go
For It! These are great! And the price is even better! If you have ever
wanted a BB collectible, then don't wait a minute more. I have mounted mine
in a special case with my other buttons and it looks great. Thanks for the
button and you guys had better get yours!

I've seen quite a few asking for the BB music, the BB movie, the BB patches
and ancillary items...so, what are WE going to do about it instead of keep
asking? There's strength in numbers...by the way....how about some BB playing
cards....

OK gang. Watched the classic remake of Fail Safe with George Clooney. Now I
know that some of you have opinions about George, but consider this. He has
been doing stage work since he was 12, on his dad's show, and he has done
some credible work. And he did the production work on Fail Safe as his
project.
So, let's hear opinions about him as a "Buckaroo Banzai". Come on, let's give
Arc Light some support and start filling in this hear ezine....lol...

Hi, you probably already know about this one. I don't know if you or any
of the other readers are B-52's fans, but I am, and just wanted to point
out a reference to the movie in one of their songs. Off their album
entitled "Bouncing Off the Satellites", in the second track titled "Girl
from Inpanema Goes to Greenlad", has the infamous phrase "...Remember,
where ever you go, there you are" in the lyrics around the middle of the
track.

Sorry if this is old news, but I always remember it when I'm away from
the computer, so this time I thought I would mention it. ;)

Blotto here. Long time no nothing! Just wanted to let you know that I
finished another story (sort of) for my Banzai Bivouac site:

http://wiznerowski.tripod.com/bivouac/unfilmde.html

It's a little odd, but it puts James Cameron in his place. Not that he was
OUT of place, necessarily, but... well, I got a theory about that guy,
see...

Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

**** I did, that's for sure. ArcLight sez check it out.

Welcome to the home stretch before Easter!

On a personal note, I have observed that when you are in an Easter Bunny
costume, you get lots of hugs and even adults will smile and wave. I saw
how I was able to make a difference in many peoples lives that day. From
the 3 year old who will remember for the rest of her life the 'Easter
Bunny', to the otherwise crotchety elderly man who looked up from his
baskcarts, smiled and waved back at the fool in the hot bunny outfit.
I wish we all could be the Easter Bunny, the experience was so very
Banzai-ish for me. Making a difference in people's lives, even on this
small scale.

Topics of this last week on the BB email list were Lectroid names and
what other fictional characters
and events (from movies, tv, or novels) could also exist in the Banzai
universe. There are also three polls over at the BBonelist for the fans
to vote on. One is about which possible Banzai-related project has you
the most psyched, another is asking when to hold the weekend Gabbs and
the last is about the next BB button project. Some results next week,
same Banzai time, same Banzai channel.:)

GABBs, we are now at the Team Banzai server. Last Wednesday's went well
with many BBIs hanging out for the duration and several drop ins said
hello. Since the first 'new-time' weekend Gabb is being held Sunday
evening I can't tell you how it went yet. Stay tuned.

Remember, Wednesday evenings 6 PM PDT/ 9 PM EDT and (for now) Sunday
evenings 6 PM PDT/ 9 PM EDT at the Team Banzai server:
http://www.team-banzai.net/Chat/chat.shtml or point your IRC to:
irc.team-banzai.net and join #Buckaroo. Chat's last about 2 hours.

Thanks for reading. Did you tell a friend last week how much they mean
in your life?

Always True Blue,
BBI Dragon

Random novel quote: Whorfin on the phone at the Asylum:
His outstretched prehensile hand reached for the phone he had dropped,
as he watched Banzai poke at the apparently lifeless object only to have
the thing spring at him and go skittering across the desert. Banzai in
rapid pursuit.
"What am I watching?" demanded Lizardo, finding Xan still there.
"Do you see that mountain in the background?" Xan said.
"Yes."
"Banzai went through it."
