Greetings,

Boy, pretty quiet this week. Hope all are well.

Caught the tail-end of a segment on one of the news channels about some
folks wanting to set the land-speed record. About the vehicle they are going
to use, the announcer said something to the effect that it wasn't "your
ordinary Ford." Neither was BB's, eh?

Coincidence? Yeah, probably, but it was still pretty cool I thought.

I've actually made it to a few of the chats lately. Pretty fun,
even if my connection's not been the greatest. A little
bit of trouble with hooligans in the S-F Channel room,
but life is like that.

Added another original newsletter to the site. Look for another
next week.

Also have the April calendar up. See the URL at the top.

Also added a new page. Gonna try and get ALL the available
Banzai stuff up, with pics and where to get it if possible.
In the meantime, there's also a classified ad capability there
(hey, it was available free). So maybe we can help each other
out without going too broke through eBay.

Also will be adding the capability to send BB postcards
by email. Should be up by the end of the week.

Later...
ArcLight

Just wanted to let everyone know that the BBI Deployment Maps have been
updated at the World Watch Files. So if you've sent me your current
location information then you *should* be on the maps. My profuse
appologies if I've misplaced anyone's info. If so just let me
know. As always there's plenty of room on the maps for those of you
who haven't signed up.

LOL at the going on's at ebay.

I guess if you don't know that B. Banzai isn't spelled b-o-n-z-a-i then
you must be willing to spent twice the price for the same videos for
auction with the correct spelling!?! Check the B. Banzai vhs video
auctions and they sell for $15 to $25ish but spell it wrong and they
sell for $35 to $45, I just don't get it!?
Over at Amazon's auction there is a copy of the vhs tape going for over
$50 and there's still time to the auction!?!
Based on my own guidelines for bidding on tapes of the film I'm going to
try to get a copy this week, so if you see my username "bbidragon'
bidding on one at ebay, know it's me :)

The BBlist had a 'topic of the week', it was "BBI training, experience &
courses". There were a lot of ideas tossed into the hat, believe it.
Some of the more noteworthy from the list members were; Improvisational
Weapons and tactics (course taught by A. Macgyver with exerps from the
Anarchists cookbook, Stunt/Trick Driving for Emergency Getaways, B. & L.
Duke Instructors, Zero G training and Space craft readiness training,
State of the Galaxy Seminar, Fen Shiu Basics, and Quantum Theory for
Dummies. If you aren't getting the emails from the BB list you are
missing out! See link at end of my post.

BUTTONS! I've got them and if I don't get rid of them to you sune I'll
just have to throw them away!!! I guess. Not.
Come on... what do I have to do to give something away FREE? I calculate
that only about 6% of the subscribers to this newsletter now have the
FREE TEAM BANZAI BUTTON. Tell you what, email me privately at my addy
above and if you tell me your mailing address I'll put the stamp on the
envelope and send you one FREE, no sase. I'll do this for the first 20!
(what a guy has to do to give stuff away around here!?!)

**** And they're nice, too. Snap these babies up. - ArcLight ****

The Gabb's are going on as usual. Been having some pranksters over at
the Sci Fi site that are annoying though.

Wednesday's Gabb will be at the Team Banzai server, info below.
Saturday's will be at the Sci Fi site.
Team Banzai server:
http://www.team-banzai.net/Chat/chat.shtml

Wednesday April 4th, evening 6 PM PST/9 PM EST

Chats will last for around two hours.

The information you will need to connect to the TB (Team Banzai) Server
is as follows:

Once you have connected with the server, certain IRC service robots
(automated programs) will kick in.
The first will be nickserv, inviting you to register your nickname.
For the time being I choose not to explain this, the more adventurous
can work with the bot on their own.

Saturday April 8th, 9 AM pst and 12 noon est:
We will be at The Sci Fi Channel web site in the chat room area:
http://www.scifi.com/chat/chatnow.html
I will open a room named- #"Something Banzai-ish"
it will be near the bottom of the list.

Always True Blue,
BBI Dragon

"All with the same first name," New Jersey said, articulating the
immediate first impression of us all.
"Not a single woman."
