Greetings,

Sorry I missed last weekend. Was away from the homebase.

The March calendar is up. To get there the long way around,
go to the World Watch OnLine page, head to the 'ArcLight' page,
then click the 'ArcLight' link at the bottom. It should take you here:

http://members.aol.com/wwatchone/web/2000cal.htm

Just a little gift from me to the Mailing List members.
Consider it a members-only bonus.

I've also added a link to it at the top of the List,
where you'll also notice links to the FAQ and the
official BB page. Check them out often. There's also
a link page and webring based at the World Watch site
for all your Banzai-surfing needs.

Also sorry I haven't made too many chats, lately. Weeknights
just aren't great for me, and despite my best intentions, I
seem to be losing my weekends (my Saturdays, at least) also.
Maybe next week...

Later...
ArcLight

Memo to 'The Deacon'-
Let's see- Live in West Hollywood on the beach....and have trouble getting
online at the coffee shop......and am considering calling in a Strike Team?
Is that what's bothering you bucky?
Let me put it this way...I was stationed at Edwards AFB in the 80s (Mojave
Desert where no one can hear you scream) two hours from civilization...and
you are complaining?
Ah....to be young and...anyway....here's a couple suggestions....move to East
LA?
No? Ok, then how about befriending someone who works at the coffee
shop...maybe someone who would like to visit the beach...or could get a
freebie at your restaurant?
Well, I thought a couple suggestions would be helpful...all in jest of
course. If you do want to call in a strike team, we here in Florida would
find it no problem to back you up....lol....

PS- "What would BB do?"

Re:Kefir discussion

Just thought I'd mention that Kefir and similar middle eastern drinks go
particularly well with middle eastern food. To jut drink it plain (or with
added syrups) it is a bit strong for the American palette but when you are
eating that really spicy middle eastern food it is great. Strong enough to
deal with the flavors and it helps counteract the spiciness.

I was skiing at Bogus Basin ski resort on Monday. It's in
Idaho, just north of Boise -- basically the place where people
from Boise ski, leaving Sun Valley/Ketchum for the tourists. I
bought a couple of hats, letting my brother choose the one he
wanted. Both said "Bogus Basin, Idaho" and had bb or BB in the
background. The Bs were both facing forward, however, not
reversed like in our logo.

I am so amazingly happy to announce the birth of our baby boy, Benjamin
Richard Murphy. He was born on Thursday, Feburary 24th, 2000 at 12:43 AM.
He was 8 pounds, 9.5 ounces and 21 inches long. He was delivered via a
C-Section and both Conchi and Ben are doing great. I am so proud of her
and Ben that I can't even tell you. Conchi is truly my hero and I love
them both very much. If you'd like to see pictures of the Mother and Baby,

From:	worldwatchfiles@hotmail.com (bbi riptide)

Hello all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the BBI Deployment Maps at the
World Watch Files have FINALLY been updated. So if you've sent me your
info, you should be on the maps (e-mail me if I've left you out)
I could blame my slowness on any number of things (work, college, a wedding,
and a funeral) but the real reason is just general apathy
towards everything as of late. But hopefully I'm back on track. And
as always, there's plenty of room on the map for those of you who haven't
sent me your info.

Greetings Blue Blazes!

Button button who's got the button?
I've already given out over 30 Team Banzai Jet Car (new design) buttons
to fans who have registered with the Buckaroo Banzai online convention
and sent me an sase. So, what are all the rest of you waiting for? I'm
going to run out sooner or later you know. In fact I did run out of the
first group I received and I'm meeting today over micro-brews to get the
rest.
Follow the link to Team-Banzai.net below and go to "BBcon" for details.

The twice weekly BB chat are going well, come join us some time, details
are on the above mentioned web site or the short form is below.

Over at the "Official" BB site's Bunk house wall, there is another, what
I've come to call, "Mind's Eye Adventure" about to come to a climax. In
fact, as I type this, Abacus and I are pinned down in our upstairs
bedroom with Death Dwarves holding the floor level of your home. We are
at a stand-off and I'm hoping to get reinforcements reel sune. Go over
and check it out. You will have to go back a week or so to catch the
whole story-line. Or, go to Team-Banzai.net later and see the whole
adventure archived there with the Fan Fiction. There are three other of
this style adventure there already. Official BB site's Bunk house wall:
http://www.banzai-institute.com/cgibin/gb/index.html

On the proposed Fox TV BB series, I guess we can assume that no news is
good news, right? With any luck the show is claiming that corporate
ladder nearing the time when they give the green light on the pilot to
go into production. In the mean time several sites have set up pages to
speculate about the proposed show, including Team-Banzai.net. Go over to
the new site by BBI Jeff Hollywood that has suggestions for filling the
rolls at : http://homepage.mac.com/~catramm/banzai.htm

I'm working on a spoof page on this very topic and it will be available
soon. Go check the topic at Team-Banzai.net and see if it's up yet.
(No disrespect intended or implied to the other's who have speculated
on filling the roles... I just had this really silly idea and ran with
it :)

Well Abacus and I have Death Dwarves to stun and most likely paint to
touch up, so until next week, see you at the GABBs, on the BB e-mail
list and on the Bunk house wall, bye.

Always True Blue,
BBI Dragon

Twice weekly BB chats? Sure thing!
We will be at: http://home.talkcity.com/

Wednesday March 1st, evening 6 PM PST/9 PM EST
and,
Saturday March 4th, morning 9 AM PST/12 PM EST

Once you get to the above site the instructions are:
Click on "chat" on the black strip near the top of the front page.
Then go to "If you already know the room you want to chat in?
Enter here:", type in "BUCKAROO" (all caps) and click on "Go!"
From there you'll have to type in a user name in the "not a member yet"
area.
This site won't like "BBI(space) your name" as a user name. So I suggest

that you use a "-" between "BBI" and your name (like "BBI-Dragon") or
just use your name alone. Some servers do not like the "-" between "BBI"

& name". You'll just have to find out what works for you.
Then click on "chat".

Chats will last for around two hours.

BANZAI!
